Dear fellow nations,
for quite a while I tried to refrain from joining this letter writing nons activity. But in the end my bosses as well as my brothers wouldn't stop bothering me until I gave in. Please write to me and I will try to reply as best I can.
Mit freundlichen Grüßen, Ludwig Beilschmidt (Bundesrepublik Deutschland)

Hallo Feliciano,
entschuldige! I didn't ignore your calls on purpose... Na gut, maybe I did. But I didn't mean it personally. Sorry. As you know I am very busy lately because of the €-crisis. Sometimes I get the feeling that the entire European Union is a giant kindergarten, and France who was supposed to be a teacher has now decided to join the children and leave his share of the work to me as well... But who am I telling this... You should better take care of yourself, before you worry about me. I am fine, thank you. And what about you? It wasn't that long actually. It was just... *looks in his calendar*... three weeks? Today is Saturday, right?
Viele Grüße, Ludwig

Doitsu-San,
I had no idea that you begun writing letters as well as Feli-san and I. Have you heard from him? I believe he begun to miss you, since he was unable to visit with the euro crisis going on. This is just of the information that i've heard, so please forgive me if I am off.
How have you been? Hai, It's been quite sometime.

Lieber Japan,
thank you for your letter. Ja, I finally had to give in and start writing letters too. Actually I don't have time for this, but maybe it can take my mind off all the work once in a while. Feliciano also sent me a letter. I didn't know that he missed me. It was him after all who called me annoying and told me not to visit him again some years ago. Don't apologize, please.
I am fine, apart from the loads of work. And what about you? Are you getting better?
Viele Grüße, Ludwig

Luddi,
It was still mean... I know you're worried about the Euro and you're working really hard on it, but Gilbert was telling you were even skipping meals! Ve, you can't do that, you'll get sick and then what's going to happen? Non mi piace preoccuparsi miei amici, Luddi!
Ve, what are you talking about, Luddi? America's government is the one acting like children, not the EU! The EU is just being mean and forcing Luddi to do all the work even though he shouldn't have to... Mi dispiace, Luddi! I can help if you want me to!
Take better care of myself? H-How did--
Ve, that's good! I'm glad that Luddi's okay even though he's working so hard! I'm doing really well, even though a lot of crazy things have happened recently. We finally have Berlusconi on trial, isn't that great? Ve, he was such a mean boss... T-Three weeks?? Don't you know how long that is, Luddi?? We used to talk every day~~

Lieber Feliciano,
ja, I know it was mean. Sorry, I didn't know that it would make you worry. Gilbert told you this? T-that was obviously a lie. I have enough time in my schedule for three meals a day and I only skip them if I have no other choice. I told you, I am fine. So you still consider me a friend?
I don't see much difference here. The poorer EU-members are begging for money, the richer want securities. Everybody is angry at me because of the reforms I want them to pass and my richer big brothers keep threatening me with seizing their payments. I can't think of a better description than "kindergarten". You could help me by asking your boss to finally pass some reforms when he's not busy calling my boss a lardass. Sorry, I guess this wears me out after all.
"How did" what? From my experience I can tell that taking care is generally a good advice to give you. So what is up?
Ja, I know you are making progress. That is really good. But what do you mean with crazy things that have happened recently? Is there anything I have to worry about? We did talk every day. But that was a long time ago and a lot of things have changed in the meantime.
Viele Grüße, Ludwig

Luddi,
Just, don't do it again? Per favore? Ve, are you sure? Gilbert usually doesn't lie when it comes to Luddi... Of course Luddi is mio amico! I-I know I wasn't very nice in the past but I want us to be amici again...Berlusconi sta rovinando tutto
Ve, that doesn't sound like kindergarden, it just sounds...cruel to Luddi. Mi dispiace, I haven't been thinking about how stressful this must be for you...Do you mean talk to Berlusconi? I can't, he's banned me from the Roma offices. I'll ask Lovi to talk to him but I don't know if it will help...Non posso credere che egli è uno dei miei cittadini. A-And I am so sorry that he said that about your boss, Luddi! I-I can't believe he would say something so stupid...
N-Nothing, Luddi~ It's not important! Ve, I take good care of myself!
Ve, I'll do as much as I can to make sure that we don't have to pester Luddi for money anymore! I'll try to get some of my influence back into the Roma offices, but it might take some time, Berlusconi still has control of the majority right now...

Hey Ludwig:
How are you, man? I'm way busy in my factories, making toys for Christmas. Anyways, it's so nice for us to have a President who speaks der Deutsch in Russia, and we were also disappointed by our team's defeat in the Rugby World Cup. Oh yeah, how did you feel when you took a tour of the East German factories after the wall came down? I heard that the guys on the other side of the wall 'pretended' to work while their bosses 'pretended' to pay them. It's infinitely worse in Russia after the fall of the USSR.
Batu Borjigin
P.S.: Do you still have the factory that produces those Kubelwagen cars?

Lieber Feliciano,
okay, I will answer the phone again from now on. As I said, I only skip meals when I have really important work to do or important appointments, but that happened only once or twice this week. Gilbert is exaggerating, everything is fine. It wasn't just your fault. I know I did some pretty stupid things to you in the past and I am sorry for it. I would also... well... like to be friends again. I guess that would be nice.
It is okay. If everybody does his best I am sure that we will be able to overcome this crisis. I just get the feeling that some countries waste their energy rather on yelling at me than on their work. I hope that your bosses get going soon as well. Did he really say it? I only heard rumors about it, but don't know if they are true.
For some reason I don't believe you. Come on, we are friends, aren't we? You can tell me.
Thanks, it is already a huge relieve for me that you are trying. Actually I don't have that much money myself and my big brothers keep throwing me a fit every time I ask them to pay more.
Viele Grüße, Ludwig

Liebe Sicily,
nice to meet you. I am fine, thank you. And how are you? You mean Gilbert? Sometimes I think I have too many big brothers. Gilbert seems to be fine. I am a little worried that he might be plotting something for Monday, the Tag der deutschen Einheit, though.

Lieber Batu,
thank you. I am fine, apart from the recent troubles in the European Union. And how are you? You are already doing Christmas preparations? Oh, it is already October. Time flies. At least you qualified for the rugby world cup. It will soon be 22 years since the Berlin Wall fell. I can't even tell you how I felt when I saw the East the first time. I was sad, depressed, sorry... angry... all at the same time... I don't know how to express this. Even today there are still huge differences between the former west and the former east. We are still in the middle of the process. Ja, I guess Russia also had a lot of work to do.
Viele Grüße, Deutschland
P.S.: As far as I know only their succeeding models are still produced today.

Leiber Deutschland,
Hurry and get the economy better. I'm counting on you with that. Your friend, Italy- that bastard better not cross my yard again with a bare ass. I've given you both fair warning. And be aware that I'm only messaging you for profit
Viele Grüße, Switzerland

Lieber Schweiz,
how nice to hear from you. How are you doing? I am already trying my best, but the European Union is unfortunately not exactly easy to handle. You still don't want to join, do you... Never mind, I won't ask anymore. Does Italy still do this? I kept telling him not to do it for ages. J-just a moment! Why are you giving me a warning? Ja ja, I know.
Viele Grüße, Deutschland
