Hi Al, No, nobody's been bothering me. Why would they, eh? I'm doing good, though Kuma made a mess of my office again and may have eaten some of my letters this time. How have you been? I know you and Angelica have been preparing for your wedding, but I haven't heard much. - Matthew MATTY! That's awesome bro! I didn't want anyone to be bothering you but I was afraid they might because sometimes I know they're blind and they mistake your awesome self for my awesomer self. Ah dude that sucks. Hope Kumjiji didn't get sick on you from eating those. I've been really good bro. Been working on wedding preparations picking out rings and such, it's been going well. And you're gonna be there right bro? You won't miss it right? It's the Nineteenth of August and I need my bro there with me. Love, Al

Hey Al,
No, nobody has seen me recently, eh. Even when I'm right in front of them... Since they aren't seeing me they can't mistake me for you, eh. Kumakiri is fine, I managed to find the missing letter so he didn't eat it.
Of course I'll be there, eh! Why wouldn't I be at my brother's wedding? You shouldn't need to ask that.

Turkey,
I don't know if Carina has written, but we've decided to postpone the ski trip until next winter. It's a little late in the season for it now, and I've been too busy to try and plan it.
So, what did you think of the Maple Drops?

Dear Uncle Matthew,
Since my swarm of work has temporarily ceased and I am able to focus more on my farm, I stopped and decided to write to you again. I apologize for not sending a letter sooner, but I have lost track of time and...to be perfectly honest Father kept annoying me with all of his pesterings to spend more time with my siblings that I locked myself in the basement for most of winter. Has he been bothering you as well, Uncle Matthew? If he has, please do not hesitate to tell him so, as you usually do. Anyway, how have you been, Uncle Matthew? Did you have a pleasant winter? Or were you hit with a powerful chill like many other countries were this year?
Sincerely, State of Iowa Timothy James "T.J." Jones

Timothy,
I-it's alright, I don't really expect letters that often everyone seems to have been busy recently. No, Al hasn't been bothering me. A-actually, I haven't heard from him in a while.
I've been well, Timothy. I'm used to the chill, eh. Not that much of a difference to me. I spent the winter playing hockey, mostly. What about you, when you weren't locked in your basement how was your winter?
Sincerely, Uncle Matthew

Dear Uncle Matthew,
No, it is not alright. If I am able and reluctantly willing to take the time to talk with my idiot siblings and myirritatingly hyperactive father, then I should have been quite able to write to you as well. Especially since you are much more interesting and worthwhile to talk to. But I am glad that Father is not making a nuisance of himself in your life. though I wish he would do the same for me as well
That is good news to hear indeed. I was worried, it seems that the weather has been irregular for everyone and I had hoped it had spared you its irritation at the very least. Me? Well, over this winter I spent most of my time working on chores about the farm. Taking care of the animals, attempting to find out how Houdini continues to break out of his pen without actually breaking anything...a simple winter, and a decidedly...odd one. We did not receive any notable amounts of snow until after the new year, but in very odd bursts between with the temperature was record-breakingly warm. ...It was very unsettling, to say the least.
Sincerely, Timothy James "T.J." Jones

Timothy,
E-eh... M-more interesting and w-worthwhile? I-I'm not th-that interesting, eh...
A mostly normal winter for you, eh. D-Did you name him Houdini before or after you found out he was an escape artist? W-well, at least it's spring now.
Sincerely, Uncle Matthew

Kanada,
Evet, she wrote to me. That is fine. Next ski season will probably be better anyway. A few of the people we invited are not doing to well emotionally and I've been talked into helping a friend with a problem, so it works out for the best.
They were really good, thank you for them.

Dear Uncle Matthew,
Compared to my siblings, who only wish to go out, party, and drink, and my father who acts more the child than even little Anya, even Uncle Scotland is a more worthy conversation partner. I always enjoy our conversations, but you seem...more subdued than usual. Is there something wrong, Uncle Matthew?
Well, in actions, yes, a very average winter. Houdini? He was given to me as a gift from a neighbor as a calf. I had helped take care of their cattle while they were on vacation and he seemed to be quite attached to me, they said. Now I know it was simply because the lovably stupid beast doesn't know how to stay where he is put. Speaking of animals, how is your pet, Kumajiro, his name is...? I'm sorry, you always used to tell me so many names for him that I can no longer recall...
Sincerely, Timothy James "T.J." Jones

Awww man that sucks dude! I don't get why they don't see you I mean you're right there! And you're awesome with your Canadia hockey whoop-ass! Man, I should make more people look up Canadia! Maybe that would help! And I'll put a sticker on you that says my name is CANADIA! I'm glad Kukuriji's doing well. I would hate for your buddy bear to be sick on you. Ah, I dunno dude. I guess I'm just nervous I mean... I'M GETTING MARRIED. Sily's the love of my life man and what if I screw up? I need my bro there for support. Love, Al ((I have no idea why, but he seems upset/worried about people not seeing Canada right now...))

Timothy,
Al doesn't act younger than Anya does most of the time. W-well, if you really think so. Eh...I've been invisible a lot recently, that's all. Nothing wrong, eh.
So that's how you got him. But was he named Houdini before or after you found out he was an escape artist? Eh...You might have Kumajiji's name right, I'm not really sure. I never seem to remember what his full name is. He's doing well, he stopped messing up my office once I stopped being so busy I didn't feed him on time.
Sincerely, Uncle Matthew

Al,
I-I don't get it either. And it really sucks when Russia sits on me... EH?! I'm Canada, not canadia! If you're going to make people look up my country, at least get the name right!
You? Nervous? Al, it's going to be fine. You love her with everything you are; I know that, you know that, and I'm sure she knows that too, eh. And she loves you just as much. Even if you do screw something up, I doubt it would be bad enough to make her call off the wedding. And you know I'll be right there next to you. I'll do my best to be visible to everyone too, so that they all know I've got your back like always. Relax, eh?
Love, Mattie

Uncle Matthew,
Fine. He acts younger than Hawaii. Does that help prove my point? Of course I believe so, Uncle. Invisible...? But why, Uncle Matthew? Do you not receive letters from my siblings and your friends and family?
He was named Houdini by the previous couple I had received him from, the Maschmanns. I believe that it was because he would escape from them as well, but I am not entirely sure, to be perfectly honest. ...So should I simply call him Kuma...? Though I am glad he is fine. ...You had forgotten to feed him? Are you truly that busy...?
Sincerely,
Timothy
