Servus New Jersey, you? A second Greece? How so? Ah, I was just trying to express how calm Hesse has become compared to some centuries ago. Not that he's constantly falling asleep, dragging cats around or that he's poor or something. He's just calm. Pfiadi, Bavaria Bavaria, Yeah... It's just because of the economic crisis here. I am in as much debt as Greece is in right now all because my governor takes my money and spends it on stupid stuff for himself. Second Greece is merely a pet-name that the reporters and the media has given me. Other than that... I don't really see any similarities between Greece and I. Oh okay. Makes sense. - New Jersey

Servus Ben, that's good to hear. I'm doing a lot better now, merci. Hamish and I have been able to make up, even if there are still one or two things we need to sort out, and my health is making progress. If everything goes well my annoying little half-brothers will leave tomorrow too. Pfiadi, Joseph Dear Joseph, That sounds good. I am happy for you and Hamish as well as your good health. As for your brothers, I wish you the best of luck. As for my brother, I haven't seen him around as much and I hope that he is okay. But the best thing for me to do is to wait to get a response from him. Your's Truly, Ben

Servus Alexis,
Spatzl! Thank Gott that you dropped me a line. I swear I was sooo about to make Al get some men to go out and look for you until they either found you or got flatfeet. Are you okay? I hope you didn’t get hurt in the earthquake. I’ve been… mei… let’s not talk about it, please. I’m well now. You’re not bothering me, Spatzl. Don’t ever think that. I missed you too and I was really worried.
Wha-weorivenwuiwhn?! Not that L-word again!

Servus Feliciano,
apologies accepted, don’t worry too much about it. I was more upset with your sudden disappearance than with the weird message anyway. Glad to hear from you in person again though.
Good, good. Be a good boy and take care of your wellbeing first. They’re still not letting you leave? What Mistkerle! Let me know if you want me to get you out of there. No problem. From what I heard from Brandenburg (between some sob-needmoney-sob) Lutz is currently nagging his bosses to let him visit you in Rome too. Merci, that means a lot to me, it really does. Yeah, right! We still need to go out drinking some time. I’ll take you up on that. Err… but it will have to wait a bit longer until I got things fixed with Hamish too.

Servus New Jersey,
ah, I see. That horrible economy thing is spreading like a disease lately. Sorry to hear that you’ve got a boss like that. That really sucks. But good to know that you don’t have too much in common with Greece otherwise.

Servus Ben,
merci a lot. Good health is exaggerated, but still thanks. With Hamish things are… n-nevermind. My brothers are back in Berlin now where they belong, although I’m rather sure that Lutz will sneak out and go to Rome soon.
I see. Mei, you know, ill weeds go apace*. He’ll surely be fine.

Bavaria,
Yeah, pretty much... I owe about the same amount of debt that Greece owes. Thanks and I know... And I have to pay for everything that he does! Yeah... but every time the newspaper or the news channel refers to me as a second Greece, Crete (my boss from the diner) starts laughing hysterically because it sounds so odd to him (and obviously knowing Greece personally, he would find it funny). He even joked about it yesterday, and said that he might make a drinking game out of it. Co-workers... Am I right?
- New Jersey
------------------------------------------------------ Yeah, the situation in New Jersey is pretty much the same in Greece... Except that in New Jersey's case, there are no riots (but we do have the Occupy New Jersey/ Occupy Trenton), the US government is bailing him out, New Jersey isn't treating to leave because of it, and it was cause because our state government is corrupted.

Joseph,
Ve, I'm sorry for worrying you like that, I tried to write to everyone but they said that "non-work related" letters were a distraction, so the secretary wouldn't mail them for me. I'm glad I can finally get to talk to everyone as well. I missed being able to talk to everyone, but especially Luddi, Joseph, and my friends.
Don't worry, Joseph, I am... And they aren't allowing me to leave because still none of my siblings have picked up the work; They need a nation to stand in these meetings, represent the people, and as of right now, I'm the only one available, ve. ...I would like to get out, si, but I don't think it would end very well if I tried... He still is? Veeee, I had thought he said something about not coming until that new issue between Luddi and Mr. Vash had calmed down... I'm trying to get enough work done, and hunt down one of my siblings in order to get them to do the national work so I can go up and see Luddi again, but it's not working out so far... Veee, I'm glad~ And si, we do! But don't worry, Joseph, I understand~ I hope that you and Hamish manage to get everything worked out very soon; I like it better when Joseph is happy, ve~

Servus New Jersey,
wow, that's a lot. Maybe I can comfort you a little... My beloved fairytale king Ludwig II. used to spend a lot of money too for his castles and arts. Back then I was often angry at him for wasting my money like that... in the end it even kind of cost me my independence (… actually rather the Preiss beating me, but if I hadn't been that poor it would certainly have been easier to fight him off). But today his castles have become famous and are one of reason why my country is Germany's number one tourist place. Try not to let that Crete guy get to you. In difficult times you'll see who is a real friend and who's not.

Servus Ben,
guess I've been too optimistic there... I was getting better, but yesterday I had kind of a... don't know, heart-attack*...? I hope that it'll be fine again by this evening,... but it doesn't look like... Zefix, I wanted to spend some time with Hamish today, but I can hardly get up (boring... laying down like that). Lieber Herr im Himmel... I thought we'd gotten over this decades ago.

Now they had an expert from Brandenburg come down, but the bomb seems to be so complicated that they still don’t know whether to defuse it or to blow it up. They don’t even know if they can get it done before tomorrow.

Servus Feliciano,
it's okay, don't worry. I understand and I don't blame you. How is your work going now? Thanks, that's really nice of you.
Your siblings are worse than mine to leave you alone like that. Jesus, what the hell are they thinking?! They better pray to Gott that I don't get a hold of them or they'll get the spanking of their lives... that makes two for Lovino after what he did to you before. … Later though. I'm not feeling well right now. Sure he is. Vash and Lutz fight over that topic every few months, so you can't really expect them to work this out anytime soon. Things have calmed down a bit again now since one of my ministers was stupid enough to bring that other topic with Greece up, so right now Lutz's bosses (and mine) are more busy giving him a talk and... whatever, it's always the same old stories. I can't even take them seriously anymore and I wouldn't be too surprised if Lutz finally felt the same. Sooner or later he'll come to the conclusion that visiting you is a better option.
Thanks for understanding. Things with Hamish aren't getting easier so far and... since yesterday I have to stay in bed too, which really drives me insane right now that I'm finally with him and... Jessas Maria... but I can't get up yet, hurts like crazy... But Brandenburg said he'd help my heart* get better by this evening… Though he doesn’t seem too optimistic either anymore by now and it’s getting late... I hate it when that happens. Zefix, can we never get over the past?!
Pfiadi, Joseph
– * in Munich an unexploded aerial bomb from WW II was found and couldn't be defused yet, because this type of bomb was officially never dropped on Bavaria and thus no bomb experts over here know how to do it. An expert from Brandenburg is here now and apparently wanted to get rid of the bomb by this evening… which doesn’t seem to work as planned, since the fuse is more complicated than expected. Right now they’re pondering if they can defuse the bomb or have to make it explode (in a controlled way), but they either have to do it soon or wait until tomorrow, becaus it’s getting late.

I get nothing cultural from my boss. The only good thing that he suggested was a ban on spray tan (which didn't happen)... Which is a good thing because I don't get to be bothered by those fist pumping, drunk ass, orange oompa-lumpas! One time my boss spent money on a helicopter ride to his son's baseball game! It not only coast me tons of money but he friggin' embarrassed his own kid! At least he paid $2,151 back to me. You're right. I will keep that in mind. - New Jersey

Joseph,
Veeee, I'm still sorry, I should have thought of the "official" channels right from the start... But anyway, my work is coming along alright. It's a bit hard to catch up when they have me attending so many meetings, but I'm slowly getting everything done. At least it's not hard since these meetings are like...crash-courses for the things I missed while visiting you and Luddi and Gilbert. No need to thank me, Joseph, I'm only telling the truth~ <3
I'm sure they're just busy... Angelica was busy with her wedding, which I'm sure Zoni was really involved in as well she always was his favorite, so most of his attention is probably on that and Lovi is still avoiding me, it seems. It's not too bad doing all of the meetings, I just don't like the fact that I have to stay in Roma indefinitely until they come back. I haven't been home in such a long time, I want to make sure things are okay... Don't worry about it, Joseph, you just make sure to rest, si? I saw on the news, it looked very painful; take care of yourself, ve?
Oh dear...so much arguing, ve. I hope that they finally get some sense into them, though I guess I'm not one to talk, with my politicians and all. But either way, I hope things calm down for you all soon, especially after your situation last week. ...Veee, I'd be really happy if he did come, but I don't want to him to get in trouble either...
Of course, Joseph, no need for thanks. I want you to be happy as can be before we go out to celebrate our good fortunes, si? But please take care; I had a care package sent to you after I heard the news, I hope it reached you alright. I'm sorry I can't come up and be of any help; I'm still on a tight leash, ve. And I'm praying that you'll be better soon.
Feliciano
