Bonjou Sofia
I'm doing well. The only other area I see most of the time is my twin Lorraine, she's good though. As far as I know, Papa France is alright, just really busy though he was been able to be more active lately. I still need to write to him and see how's everything goes. It is fine, I understand that everyone is busy right now, it seems like every area is having issues.
Beaucoup D'amour
Astrid
P.S. Please tell Haiti Bonjou for me, and tell them I'm doing good, Yea, it seems a few people have issues with him. I can kind of see why.

Bonjou Astrid,
Ah good! Tell her I say hi! So you wouldn't know how French Guiana's doin'? Shame I quite like the guy. Ah papa, I miss the guy I must admit. Need to go and visit at some point maybe. I hope he gets less busy soon. Everyone's busy? Oh yeah...you guys have that Euro problem that's kind of...yeah...
Beaucoup D'amour
Sofia
P.S. Well Haiti's had it for a while haha! Oh bloody hell he has...
_____ ((It's fine and 'bonjou' is the creole spelling of 'bonjour' though it's pronounced 'bon-zu'))

Bonjour Alsace,
How are you mon amie? I really hope you are doing better than me. I'm swamped in work. It is quite stressful, but I know if I work hard enough I should get it all finished soon. It seems as if I always have work to do. It's mainly because of the world issues. Oh what our world has come too. Oh,well enough of that. If I keep at it I am surely going to worry myself to death.

Bonjour Sofia,
As soon as I see her next I'll make sure to tell her. No, sorry, I wouldn't..... Maybe you could go visit him sometimes. Yea, its busy everywhere and England certainly didn't help by not agreeing to the Euro aid package. I don't know if its improved since then or not, but that was the last I heard.

Bonjour Mabel,
I am très bien. I'm sorry to hear you are swamped. I know you'll get it done soon. Yes, you need to not worry so much, it will give you premature wrinkles. But yes, I agree, the world is full of issues. Besides work, what have you been up too?
Astrid.

Bonjou Astrid,
C'est bien. Merci! Visit him? I probably should but...I'd have to go past Haiti and it's been awkward between us for a while. Well I doubt England would have agreed it didn't really help him as a nation did it? Well Greece has gotten some bailout money right? That's good. But Astrid those concerns don't include me I really want to know how you are, hun.

Bonjour Sofia,
It might be awkward to visit him, but I'm sure a little awkwardness is standable if you really want to see someone. No it didn't from what I heard. I'll have to look into it to see if he has gotten bailout money. I honestly don't pay too much attention to those factors. I've been good, I do my day to day paperwork and then I go out and hike or help in the local vineyards or read, depending on what I want to do. I reciently started talking to one of the states and he seems really nice. How have you been?

Bonjour Alsace,
Well, after my work has been done for the day I like to go sit down at the docks. The ocean is truly beautiful. When the sun hits it a certain way the water seems to sparkle. It can take your breath away. Or on some days I like to help with showing tourists around. They really like to see the palace. It's funny watching them 'Ooh' and 'Aah' over every little detail.

Mabel,
Sorry for such a late reply, I've been busy and your letter got misplaced. The ocean is beautiful, but I don't get there much, being landlocked here and all. it is good that tourists like to visit your country. That does sound funny. Its jsut starting on tourist season here, so its going to be busy. Plus one of the states is comming to visit me, so that will be fun.

Miss Astrid,
I was going through Daniel's letters and I realized I needed to send you a letter. My son thought very highly of you, he thought that you were a very special girl and he cared about you very much. I... I had been quite looking forward to getting to meet you.
I understand you are hurting right now. We all are, but I would love to meet the young woman he loved. I also thought that perhaps coming here could be good for you.
Although you never had that chance to see if it would come that far, I consider you an honorary member of my family. And it would be my honor if you would also attend my wedding with August and stand with my family in his memory.
I hope this letter has not caused you too much distress and I really really hope to meet you someday soon.
Sincerely, Alfred F. Jones
((*hugs*))

Lieber Alfred
...I hope you don't mind I call you that? I had been looking forward to meeting you too. I...I thought very highly of him too, he was very special to me...you raised a good son.
I would like to meet you too....he loved me? I...I didn't know he felt that strong. *few tear marks* I wish I had known...but its probably better I didn't till now. I loved him too, and I never told him that. I thought we had forever to move to that state...but it appears I was wrong. I think that perhaps that would be a good idea, I would love to meet you properly instead of over letters like this.
I...I don't know what to say to that...but thank you. I hope I'm not a disappointment to you. Please let me know when you would like me to come over and where to meet you and I will make the proper plans. I would like that, I would be honored to accept.
It's alright..it's actually helped some, I'm thankful you took time out of your schedule and wrote to me. I hope I can met you someday soon too.
Astrid
((*hugs* she tried really hard not to cry on the letter))

Astrid,
I don't mind at all. I told you, I consider you my family, family calls each other by name. I thought so. Thank you... I did my best to do right by him, like for all my children.
I'm not sure if he came right out and said it... I.. I can't handle going back to check right now... but I remember the way he spoke about you and as his father it was obvious to me as much as I was teasing him about things... I understand and I'm sure that he knows.
You're welcome and I'm sure you won't disappoint... I... Daniel chose you and he thought you were wonderful. I have faith in his decision. He was my son and he knew these things. So I'm sure you won't disappoint me. Right now pretty much anytime is good. If you want to come down in just a couple days even I wouldn't mind. My time is pretty free right now. A friend of mine took care of clearing my schedule... I was going to try and take care of everything, but it looks like he and my daughter know me better than I know me.
I'm glad then that I've been able to help, it was no trouble really. I'm sure we will.
Alfred
((*hugs* Even though he's sad right now this is the most connected and stable emotionally he's been writing today I think... He's got a bit of a disconnect with his other letters either not talking about it at all or just being kinda... distant... except Bavaria where he seems really emotionally unstable at least to me. We'll see if I can manage Turkey and then all his letters will be up to date...))

Ben,
Danke Ben, I am thankful for that. I am sorry you lost someone too...I wish it never had happened...it still hurts to think about. I hope I'll be able to help you, I'll be willing to try, but I'm not sure how much I'll be able to.
Astrid.

Alfred
Then I shall call you by name then. You did very well by him....while we never had a chance to talk about the rest of our family with each other, I'm sure he would have had only good things to say about you.
You do not need to go back in check, I believe you..why else would he take the time to fly across the ocean to see me. I hope he knows, I really do.
I am thankful for you vote of confidence. I'm free for the foreseeable future myself. My twin sister has agreed to take on my work until I feel up to it again, so if I were to catch a plane tomorrow would that work? It is good to have such close friends and family that knows when you need them.
Astrid
((Well I'm glad he's able to be stable emotionally talking to someone...I know how it goes trying to have unstable head characters trying to write letters...depending on who they are writing too the results are either quite interesting or where the heck did that come from with the head character denying ever saying to write that. I hope he's doing better now. *hugs*))
