Please don't apologise again. Even without counting the hours I am fully aware how much time I spend in the office. It may not be in accordance with the worker protection laws, but since this is an exceptional situation it will have to do. I am not a normally human worker anyway. Maybe I am curtailing my private live a little recently, but as I said it is an exception and I can catch up on it once we have overcome the crisis.
If you did I would let you know, but I am sure that this will never happen. I don't see why those numbers would be of any interest to you or Feliciano.
I will take the liberty of changing the subject. It came to my ears that you own a dog now?

I will try not to apologise again if it bothers you. That may be so, but Doitsu-san, we are still in a way people and while we have more stamina than them, we are still fallable. It is always best to strike a good balance of work and private life. Please understand that. Perhaps you could take at least some time off for your morning excersise?
While I hope it never does, please do so if it happens. I would hate to to something ike that to my friends. It is simply a means of easing our worry should the numbers be satisfactory a level.
Do you mean Pochi? Yes, I have had him for a very long time now. He has been a great help in easing my burdens. I am sure your dogs are as well. How are they?

Oh, Kiku is so lucky~ I too have had a lot of work, but I cannot make enough time to sit and just think, si? With the crisis, and the riots, and everything else I have just enough time to make food for everyone who isn't taking care of themselves properly for myself, do chores around my home, maybe read or sleep for an hour or two. Don't apologize, Kiku! I'm happy that things are better for you, so you should be happy too!

That makes me happy to hear, mio amico! Luddi is upset with me for being concerned about him, so I'm glad that Kiku is grateful that I care enough to worry. N-No, I don't think that Luddi is taking many relaxing breaks. There has been one true break that I can think of, but he only stops to sleep and eat the rest of the time, and those breaks are definitely not as long as they should be, ve. Play...football together? I might just ask him that, though it will have to wait until Lovi is feeling better and I've finished my other obligations to the other nations.
Oh, it's not a problem, Kiku! You are much better at understanding things than I am, it must be because you have read that book... Speaking of which, ve, where do I find the book "Atmosphere" that I keep hearing about, Kiku? I still cannot find it...

hearing you apologise all the time without any reason makes me feel uneasy.
I understand what you try to say and I am also aware that I can't continue like that for a long time. As I said, I have to finish these reports until this weekend, which makes two more days. If I get up one hour earlier at morning it should be possible to reassume my jogging. I will think about it. Thank you for the suggestion.
You can put your mind at rest. I'm firmly convinced that none of your friends would ever think that. Well... What is a "satisfactory level" for you then?
A very long time already? In that case please excuse my ignorance. That is very good to hear. Dogs truely can work miracles when it comes to allaying their master's grief. My dogs are also fine. While I am at the office my brothers are kind enough to take care of them. Since they caused an incredible mess the last time, I can't take them with me anymore.

I apologise for that. It is just that I usually do not refer to many via their human names. I still refer to Doitsu-san as Doitsu-san even though I know him as long as I know you.
Lucky? I suppose I can be called fortunate on that account.. Still, I would have rather been able to live life as per usual instaed of being forced to make myself 'relax and take it easy' as America-san would say.
Feli-kun's life sounds very full and fulfilling. It is nice to hear that you have many things to do. Still , please take care of yourself while doing your work. I hope everything has been well for you all things considered. I am glad you still have enough time to do the things you enjoy to do. But If I may ask, why do you need too cook so much? Are the people around you also too busy with work to have time for their private lives?

I understand that, but at the same time, I feel that they are exaggerating my health and constricting me too much. While I appreciate their efforts, I do feel as if they are doing too much. But I try not to say much to not hurt their feelings. Even though I am sure they already know my feelings.
Please take your time! I do not wish to force you to come when you already have so many things to do. Please complete all your tasks and assignments with care before even thinking of visiting me. I would hate to distract you from your work. You already sound so busy. I will not turn you away if you do come, but please.. do not make it a priority.
I am sure it is just because he does not want you to worry and have less concentration on your work. I am sure he means well. Currently Doitsu-san seems to be considering loosing sleep for exercise.. Once they are done, I hope that you will continue your usual lifestyle.. But please do not miss out on sleep in exchange for my idea! It was not well though out and I would retract it immediately! I apologise for presenting that idea to you. Please forget it immediately! Sleep is too important to miss out then you are already doing more than your quota is. A satisfactory level? I suppose one that is not more than 10 hours and better if it is less, but not less than 4 hours seeing as though your workload is very big, I assume. After all, 10 hours plus the 8 needed for sleep only leaves 6 hours for any other activities.. And while it may seem long.. Once it includes the time to get ready, get to work, get back from work, cook, eat, clean and other miscellaneous work, is not short at all for free time.
Of course, I planned this according to my idea of your schedule and especially for you. It may change accordingly per person.
I do not blame you. We have not met each other outside of work for a very long time, and it would be unwise and unrealistic of me to expect you to know everything in my life.
True, Pochi knows how to cheer me up especially now a days. Though I am not sure I am doing much for him anymore what with not being able to play with him much anymore. I should apologise to him for that..
Oh dear. Still, I'm sure your brothers will do a good job with them.. But did you usually bring your pets to work?

in the last few of your letters I had the impression that you constantly felt the urge to apologise even though you didn't do anything wrong. Please just try to cut down your apologies.
Don't apologise again, please! There is nothing wrong with your idea and I guess some work-out will do me good. They say a healthy mind lives in a healthy body after all.
You can trust me on that. I am sure that your friends would let you know if it were otherwise. Unlike some other nations you are able to read the atmosphere after all, so I am sure you wouldn't miss a hint.
Only ten hours?! How on earth am I supposed to get this work done within less than 10 hours? You can't be serious about eight hours of sleep! As far as I remember I never slept that long, due to the nightmares. I can't just sleep almost as long as I work! I understand. Please set your mind at rest. Thank you for taking the trouble of calculating my schedule.
That is sad, but true. Still I should have known a big information like that. Maybe we could walk our dogs together some time, when our work allows it. They will probably like the idea of romping around with a conspecific.
Please don't tell me that you are considering to apologise to your dog for real... *sigh* Japan, the wonderful thing about dogs is that they will always love you unconditionally. Pochi will be happy when you play with him again, but he won't hold grudges for the time you had other things on your mind.
My dogs are very well trained and usually it was no problem to have them stay at the office for some hours. But due to the crisis my work forced me to stay a lot longer than I used to, which was too much for the dogs.

Your stay must have been elongated by quite some time for your dogs to feel restless.. Please remember to play with them alot to make up for lost time.

Believe me, the number of hours won't take your worries away... But they are lapsed now anyway. As I said, my brother is making sure that I don't overwork myself. My brothers take good care of my dogs, so I am not worried. You are right though. Earlier my brother made me walk them by kicking me out of my own house and I have to admit that I missed them a lot.

You are writing letters, Japan, which is something that has given me a pleasant surprise. A "Homie" is American slang for "friend." "Like a boss" (in American dialect) is a way of making something sound more exciting then it is (though its very exciting for me that you would be writing letters, because you're a good friend of mine) "Like a boss" is also a way of saying someone is doing something a boss would do.
Giving someone "props" is another way of saying you give that person proper respect and or recognition for doing something you respect, admire, or enjoy. Thus, I give you props for writing letters homie.
