Dad,
Not much. Anya was over, but she's heading over to Elijah's now so the house has gotten very quiet.
...*snickers*
Dad, you get plenty of respect! from people who haven't met you Leave Bob alone, he has to deal with whatever craziness you put him through all day.
Love, Emily

Dan,
Location, location, location, huh?
Ah, the ocean is wonderful~ I'm sure you'll love it. A girl, huh? Got someone special, then?
Most people only know that part, it's easier. But, I get to be not only the smallest state, but the one with the longest name. I'm not sure which is worse, it being thought of as an actual island or being used as a unit of measure.
That's right, France had that area... Some of them, yeah. Others not so much, but it's the ones with deep stories that are more interesting anyway.

Oh hush child. You have your own moments like that. I'm not sure if I should be even a little pleased of if I should be offended. I do so get respect from people who know me! sometimes. Oh sure everyone takes your side Bo- OW! C'mon I thought I was behaving! Love, Dad

Dad,
Anya is so quiet compared t'holidays at your place, but yeah, it's like that.
Not nearly as many as you.
Uhm...how about you go for both? An' who is this person who knows you an' respects you? I don't think I've met them. Of course we do, we feel bad for th'guy 'cause we know you. You prob'ly drive the poor man up one wall across the ceiling an' down the otheh wall without realizin' it. Not sayin' you're always like that, just when you've got nothin' important to focus on. An' you betteh be focusin' on your weddin' t'Angel!
Love, Emily
((you probably realized, but I wanna say it anyway - she's teasing him about only getting respect from people who don't know him, she knows he can get respect from people who know him if he tries Emily, my turn to type, remember?, she just had to say it anyway))

Emily,
I know, but still I know the feeling of a house when the kids are gone.
Oh hush.
I think I shall. HEY! I'll have you know that Matty knows me and he can still respect me! most of the time... I think
Oh come on! I've been on my best behavior and I haven't gotten a computer virus in over a month! And I even stopped singing karaoke at two in the morning! Of course I'm focusing on that!
Love, Dad

Em,
Yeah, definetly.
Aye, I wish I lived by the ocean. Yeah, a girl. Have ya met Astrid? She's real nice, and very pretty too.
It seems to be pretty cool, long name and flying under the radar like ya do. Chicago is the 3rd largest city in the US.
France had a lot of areas, huh? Well, a good story is always nice ta have, ya know.

Dad,
You know I'm kiddin', most of us states respect you most of the time, an' I'm sure Uncle Matt respects you as much as you do him.
...you shouldn't be proud about only going a month without a computer virus. That just shows how often you usually get them. You stopped doin' karaoke at weird times of day? Dang. Bob, that is good behavior from him. Good.
Love, Emily

Dan,
I haven't met Astrid, but I trust your judgement.
I guess... Seriously? Damn...
True. Lucky we don't have a bunch of states all like him because of it. ((god I hope it stays that way...)) Sometimes I wonder how Uncle Matt turned out as normal as he did, having France for a dad.

James,
Yeah, I've been to as many as I could. Yeah? Anywhere interestin'? Eh...One city went bankrupt, and a couple others are fightin' ta keep that from happenin' to them too. S'nuts, but I'll survive. Always do.
That I know. Dad lost some of his a while back; I think someone stole them. He said it's been taken care of, though.
.....You're cold, but it just got hot? What? James, relax a bit, yeah? Whateveh you're nervous about can't be that bad. Wanna talk about it?
Love ya too, nutter, Emily
