Hello po~ I am Maria Clara dela Cruz, the Republic of the Philippines~ I realize that my name is a little long (Well, okay, this is already considered short, but still...) so you can just call me either Maria or Phili. ^_^ Wow! It's been forever since I've written a letter like this! Feels rather nostalgic. The only letters I receive nowadays would be the electric bills from Meralco and my water bills and junk mail and I actually noticed that some of my fellow nations have been writing letters lately, so I decided to jump into the bandwagon and write a letter as well! I look forward to receiving replies soon, so please send some! Yours truly, Maria P.S. It's more fun in the Philippines, so do come visit me sometime. [[Omg I finally posted. **cries** ]]

Piri-tan:
How are you these days? I'm fine here, though this may be the last time I'm writing the letter as I would have to close shop. Siberia or one of Russia's friends in the Balkans might take over for me. Anyways, what in the hell is going on in the Spratlys? It's not like Kitay's trying to stake a claim on it when Alfred sent his sub to guard your backyard, while I'm stuck with Vanya and his boss.

P.S.: I was the one who raised Russia for a while until I got my ass kicked.

Dear Kuya Batu,
I've been well, thank you. ^_^ Teka, ano po?! [[Wait, what?!]] B-But I was planning to go to your place this week to buy chakchak from your shop! I mean, I was going to surprise you with my visit, but...
As for the Spratlys... I-I'm not sure what to think anymore... Kuya Yao hasn't been very open about it lately, but he'd sent a fishing fleet to Spratlys before, which is kinda like invasion. I'm pretty sure he's still quite ticked off over the entire Spratlys affair and I can only hope that this doesn't lead to war. Some of his warships were spotted near the coast of Palawan just recently...
Yours truly, Maria
[[As you can see, I don't exactly follow current affairs. |D;; ]]

Dear Kuya Japan,
I've been well, thank you~ If I dare say so myself, I think my economy is starting to improve. My boss has a lot of plans for me and everything~
What about you, Kuya? How are you po? Have you been taking care of your health? Remember not to eat too much salty foods, okay?
Love, Philippines
[[Kuya = big bro, po: something we use as a sign of respect.]]

That is good to hear then. I wish you all the best in your endeavors. Hopefully the economy would soon pick up.
Me? Well, I am doing fine now. I am doing much better now. Thank you for asking. My heath is getting better as well. ...I shall consider your request.

Dear Kuya Japan,
Thank you po~ I really hope so too. I don't want to get left behind by the other Asian nations, after all~ Especially my fellow ASEANs; All of them are fast improving!
Oh! That's wonderful to hear! But then again, I guess I'm not exactly in a very good position to remind you about your diet because I guess I'm not the healthiest nation either... But food is just too delicious to resist, wouldn't you agree, Kuya? I mean, there's adobo, lechon, hamon, leche flan, fruit salad...

Dyebuchka Filippini,
I haven't received notice of when they'll close my letter box yet, so I'm still open. Problem is that Vanya and Yao are too busy looking out for Syria and Alfred's sticking his nose to a problem he shouldn't even be involved in the first place. Other than that, I had a good laugh when it was raining teddy bears in front of Natalya's house.
Batu
P.S.: You should go write some letters to Vanya and see how he is doing, though you should get used to hearing him say 'become one with Mother Russia'.

It is of no problem. Yes. They are fast improving, and that is good in their own right. Still it is unnerving being left behind... I too must do better then ever before. Let us both try our best.
Thank you. Yes that is true. Food is something that is delicious and very very tempting. To waste it should be a criminal offense.

Dear Kuya Batu, Ah! That's great news! I'll inform you when I'll drop by for a visit~ And yes, well, that's Kuya Alfred: always being the hero. ^^Vv Oh yes, I've heard of that! If I'm not wrong, that was Berwald's idea, was it not? To make it rain teddy bears. How did Natalya react? Yours truly, Maria
