Yeah I'm fine. It was kind of a moment throughout the east coast of "drop your shit and freak out!" I know a couple of people are hurt around the capital though. The pentagon is flooded in some areas and our nuclear reactors are being taken a look at.
Since when does a 5.9 earthquake happen to the east coast?
NYC would apparently hit bad in some areas.

Thank goodness you're ok. I can't believe that really happened! It's quite shocking to suddenly hear there was an earthquake in the US of A.

I didn't feel a thing, does anyone know if Al's okay? What part of the US do you live in? I like in PA which was right next to it. Apparently it reached all the way up to MA and OH.

I live in MA; apparently an earthquake hit a town about fifteen minutes from here.

The last earthquake was in the 1850s that was on the east coast. None of the houses are built for earthquakes because the east coast is one of the most safest places for earthquakes in the world (it's dead in the middle of a fault) . Now it's all over the news here.

I guess so.. I never expected a quake to hit around here o.o Well we are in the middle of the plate so this is one of the areas of the world that shouldn't get them at all. I'm also surprised. Haha well we have been having tornadoes around here and no one woudl think that they would happen. For some reason they are getting more rapid with each storm too.

The whole tornado thing was horrifying, but luckily I wasn't hit by any of those either

I from the UK, so we don't get those. Yeah you guys get rain a lot haha. We typically don't either so this is a freak accident. The West coast is another story. No one was expecting this at all!
