Dear Anyone Who Maybe Reading This,
Salut/Moein! I'm Ben Calteux of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and I was pretty much forced into writing these letters by my older siblings... You may know them as Beligum and the Netherlands/Holland. But anyway... I am really looking forward into reading and replying to your letters! It would certainly be fun to talk to you guys... And hopefully help me with those writing skills!... Let's just say that I'm terrible at spelling and grammar.
Okay... Write to you soon!
From Luxembourgh with love,
Ben Calteux

Lieber Ben,
what a pleasant surprise that you have opened your inbox, even if it hasn't been fully voluntarily. How have you and your siblings been doing? I hope that Lars has calmed down a little after his defeat in football on saturday. Not that I am one to talk, but he is taking football very serious, isn't he? I still remember how he rampaged in Nuremburg when he lost against Portugal in the World Cup 2006.
Viele Grüße, Ludwig

Dear Ludwig,
Well as far as I know, my older siblings are fine... But Lars has not been calm... I do not why people take sports as seriously as him? To me, he is acting like a child.
Yours Truely,
Ben

Lieber Ben,
that is good to hear. I admit that I have been worried, because it has been a while since I have heard from you and your siblings. Are you well too, Ben? Lars is very committed when it comes to football, so I didn't expect anything else. ... In that case I guess I should better avoid the topic of the upcoming UEFA Euro altogether, I suppose.
Viele Grüße, Ludwig

Dear Ludwig,
I understand that you might have been worried, and I would be too if I have never heard from someone in a long time. And I am fine, thank you. Right now, I have just gotten finished with taking Peltze on his first walk (that pup grows up so fast!) and he is now sleeping next to my desk.
And ja... Lets not talk about UEFA Euro... Shall we?
Yours Truely,
Ben

Lieber Ben,
right, with the recent economical and political situation it is hard to tell if there is cause for concern or not when we don't hear from other nations in a longer time. They could be in trouble or simply working overtime. The first walk must have been exciting for Peltze. You are right, little dogs grow up very fast. One day you still have them on your arm and the next you can barely manage to hold the leash (Blackie grew up a lot faster than I did). How old is Peltze now? When I last saw a picture of him you held him with one hand.
It will be difficult to hold myself back when the tournament starts this weekend, but I will try my best.
Viele Grüße, Ludwig

Dear Ludwig,
Ja, it was! And right now he is about four months old, and even though the walk was short and only just around the property, but it was still pretty fun and I am sure that he enjoyed it! Maybe soon I might take him out for another walk but out in the village where he could interact with people and other dogs?
Hum... I bet! I'm not going to watch the tournament, since I do not follow sports but I do wish you the best of luck.
Yours Truely,
Ben

Lieber Ben,
four months, then he must still be a very cute little guy. It is a good idea to take Peltze out for a walk in public areas like a park too. He has to grow used to other people and dogs. Aster for example had the habit of chasing behind bikers when she was young. It is important to break such habits before they become a problem. Will you train Peltze all by yourself, or have you thought about visiting a dog obedience school too?
Thank you, Ben. I hope you are aware that your brother's and my team are in the same group and that he will hate to know that you wished me good luck.
Viele Grüße, Ludwig

Dear Ludwig,
Ja, I am very aware of that fact... You know very well that I have had small dogs before, so I am quite experience. But however I might need some help with Peltze since he is such more energnic and hyper than the other dogs that I have owned in the past so soon I will enroll him into a obedience school.
't ass näischt, Ludwig. And ja, I am aware of that fact and ja he already told me that before I wrote this letter...
Yours Truely,
Ben

Hallo Blaag (Brat),
I've been hearing some really interesting things at the World meetings, like me making you do my paperwork. I don't ever recall asking you to do that. I'm pretty sure I've handled every bit of paperwork that has come my way myself. I don't trust you to know what my country needs. I don't really care about the lost towards Germany, I'm a bit preoccupied with the money situation that were in.
Lars
P.S. If you spread anymore lies about me blaag I will punish you like the child you have been acting like.

Dear Lars,
Brudder, I swear to you that I was not lying! I saw you breaking my vases and making me do your paperwork. I know that you normally would never do this type of thing and you know that I would never lie. Even Ludwig said that you were mad at him because of the game. I do not know what is up with you lately but you are worrying me! So, please come over to my estate later so we could straighten this out? I am sure that there must be some logical reason why.
Yours Truely,
Ben

Hallo Blaarg,
That couldn't have been me I was at Bel's house for the past two months helping her with with the financial paperwork and other things. I would never break someone's or my own vases because then I would have to pay you back and I work too hard to just hand out money like that. You couldn't pay me enough to go to your house.

Dear Lars,
Okay, I trust you. Well, if it was not you perhaps... It could have been your 2p or something because this person who looks and claims to be you. I am so dearly sorry that I have mistaken this person as my own brudder! Please forgive me (and possibly Ludwig since he claims a similar thing happened to him after the football game). I am not upset anymore and I will replace the vases with money from my own pocket and if you want, I will take you out (and Bel if she wants to) to dinner and I will pay for all of it!
Sorry for the mix-up. And I will do anything that I can to help you out a bit more.
Yours Truely,
Ben
P.S. Um... I do not pay you to go to my house... You can go in any time you like... Do you want me to pay you for the next time that you visit?

Lieber Ben,
please excuse my delay in responding. That is true. My apologies when I made it sound as if I wanted to lecture you about dogs. An obedience school is always a good idea, not only for the dog's education but also for their exercise and keeping them from getting bored or lazy. If you are interested we could also arrange a play-date for our dogs on occasion. Maybe Peltze can also learn from his conspecifics.
Then I have to say it was rather brave of you to wish me luck. How is Lars doing now that he was out with 0 points? I am a little unsure what to think of his behaviour. He suddenly pretended not to care about football at all from what I have heard.
Viele Grüße, Ludwig

Dear Ludwig,
I am sorry to respond rather late but I was quite busy... I hope that you do not mind.
Well anyway, I think that it is a great idea for our dogs to have a play-date! It will be a great educational oppertunty for Peltze. When do want to have it?
To be honest with you... I haven't heard from Lars in a while... I am seriously worried about him!
Yours Truely,
Ben
