Greetings. My name, to those who may not know it, is Timothy James "T.J." Jones. I am the State of Iowa, and due to pressure from my governor I am now forced to send this letter to you all. If you wish to send me a letter, you may, but I cannot guarantee that I will reply quickly, I have many vegetable to harvest before the frost comes. I hope that you all have a good day.
Sincerely,
The State of Iowa T.J. Jones

State of California,
Hello, California. It is...nice to hear from you. Why is it good to see me writing letters?
I am doing well. As I stated in my first letter, I have been working on harvesting my garden before the frost hits, and I am having problems keeping Houdini in his pen. Other than that, I am doing well. Nothing to complain about. And yourself, California? I assume that you are partying, as usual.
Sincerely,
The State of Iowa, T.J. Jones

...New York State,
Though I am not sure how you believe it is possible to do so, it would please me greatly if you would desist from sending me hugs through the mail, bitte. . And, as I constantly attempt to remind you, I am not uptight. I simply do not like it when you touch me so carelessly, especially when I am attempting to work. New York State, I do not see how you could believe that I am not calm right now.
...I am not very sorry to say that I am, at this time, unable to come visit you. I am finishing with the harvesting of my vegetables, and if I do not finish fixing Houdini's pen he will surely run off and interrupt one of my meetings again. While is has been quite some time since I have seen you, or any of our siblings for that matter, I cannot say that I am upset by this. I have had much time to take care of my farm without someone destroying my plants. So, I must decline your invitation.
Sincerely, State of Iowa T.J. Jones

*rolls eyes* Whatever dude. But I'm so glomping you next time I see you. And sure you're not uptight. Listen you your big sister and take a day off. With you if it's not crops its animals, and not animals its something else, and all that stuff. Really, I know you're not calm because you're talking to me and you always get annoyed at me.
Ouch. That hurt. *pouts in emo corner* Really, you need to get out of the house a bit. There's more to life then just your plants.
And no calling me New York State!!!! I know we've talked about this. Elena. THat's my name. Use it.

...Elena,
I shall concede to your point, since these are not official work letters, and you are my elder sister, I should use your name. I apologize for upsetting you.
...Would you please not do so if I asked politely? Because I know that I have told you before that I am not comfortable with hugs, especially not..."glomps". I do not believe I am uptight, Elena, I do know how to relax. I must get these vegetables harvested before the frost comes or they will all die. I will take a day off when there is no more work to be done. Elena, there have been admittedly few times when I have not been annoyed with you, does it sound as if I am upset with my elder sister right now?
While I do understand that there is more to life than my plants and animals, I do rather find them good company. Is that a bad thing?
Sincerely, State of Iowa T.J. Jones

Thanks TJ. It's no problem, but I'd rather people call me Elena then New York.
*sigh* I wouldn't.....but I do expect at least a hug. I know you're not, but not even one quick one? How to relax? I know a nice bubble bath and some music always works for me. *sigh* Ok, fair enough. There are very few times I haven't annoyed you......Not at the moment, but we'll see how long it lasts.
I guess not, but I'm just saying not to totally cut yourself of, ok. I don't want to many people forgetting about my awesome little brother!

Elena,
You are most welcome, I suppose. Though, you are New York State so I do not understand why you would not wish to be called by such.
...If Elena insists... But please do not smother me as you usually do. It is rather irksome when you and our other siblings insist on suffocating me in your attempts to show your "happiness" in seeing me. I relax by feeding Houdini and the other animals, or perhaps by chopping firewood. The repetitive actions are calming to a stressed mind, I recommend it to you.
Is this supposed to be a warning that Elena will attempt to annoy me later? Because then I would have to ask you to cease and desist that train of thought. I am not fond of such actions and you should remember that well.
A-Awesome? I-I must insist that you do not speak of me in such a...such a strange fashion. You are not even using the term correctly, I do not instill awe in others. If anything I would want people to simply leave me to my chores and books.
Sincerely, State of Iowa T.J. Jones

TJ,
*shrug* Because it's so formal. Like, I only get called tnat when I'm in trouble. Calling me it in a letter makes me feel like I'm going to be yelled at.
THank you~. *sigh* Fine, I won't. But still, hugs are good. And we don't see you very often! I live in the city. Not really a lot of repetitive action here ya know. I'll try it sometime though.
I won't sat attempt, but I'm just saying that I might. I'm not going to try to, but it's who I am.
I'm not? Ok then....my amazing little brother. And we love you to much to leave you alone. XD

Elena,
But does your governor not call you New York State during meetings and such? I am the opposite, actually. I am unused to being called by my name.
Oh Elena, why do you sound so disappointed? Are you unhappy with the thought of not suffocating me? ...That thought worries me. Of course you do not see me very often. All of you care far too much about behaving like children even when there is work to be done. Such irresponsibility... It must be your city lives. I no longer recommend chopping firewood to you, Elena. It would most likely cause too much strain to you.
So you admit that you are a rather annoying person, or is it just that you and I are not meant to have extended exposure to one another?
...P-Please do not say things so easily, Elena, especially if you were just discussing how you were going to be annoying me. It is rather embarrassing...
Sincerely, State of Iowa T.J. Jones

TJ,
He does, but that's for a different reason. He's my boss. He's suppose to call me New York.
I'm not dissipointed! Really. I don't suffocate you! *pouts* I'm not tall enough to do that.....*roll eyes* I wish I could act like a child all the time. Just because I'm not out farming doesn't mean I'm not doing work brother dear. And you act like I've never done a days hard work in my life. But I don't chop firewood anyway. I'm not strong enough. =.=
A bit of both? I mean, I know I can be pretty annoying, but I think I can keep my annoyance in check for this.
Wait, what? I've lost your logic here. I mean, you are amazing, since you have a problem with me saying you're awesome.

Elena,
I see. But Father is the one who calls you New York State when you are in trouble? How is he, anyway? I have heard less about him than I have about the riots in England that happened a few months ago.
You may not be tall enough to do so but when you jump on me in that rather obnoxious way you always end up coming close to strangling me and I don't much care for that. Why on earth would you wish to act like a child?? That is a sentiment I do not understand. Never being taken seriously, always having someone keeping an eye on you, being unable to make your own decisions... that sounds absolutely terrible. I do not understand you, elder sister, I truly do not. Oh, you are doing work? That is surprising, I had last heard that you were spending a lot of time with the female Italy, going to parties and drinking. But that has been some time, you could have buckled down since then. I apologize for not taking that into consideration.
Do not worry, Elena, I will do my best to not become annoyed with you.
I am not amazing either, Elena. I simply know when to work and when not to.
Sincerely,
State of Iowa T.J. Jones

T.J,
Yeah. Actually, Jersey does too.....Dad? He's doing good. So good he found himself a fiancee.
I do? ek! Sorry!!! I really try not to!!! I won't anymore! Promise! I know being a child sucks, but still, to be that carefree again. To not have to worry about a national debt, or the military, or stuff like that. When he only thing you wanted was to see you dad step off the boat.....*sad sigh* It was good times.....Well, I'm kind of not doing work at the moment, but I was....I was out partying with Sicily. But we both have work, so we can't go out partying all the time. It's ok TJ.
Ok~!
*sigh* That's not what I mean TJ.....

Elena,
F-Fiancee?? I seem to be very much out of the informational loop, I did not even know that Father was even dating anyone.
That would be very much appreciated, thank you Elena. But it is not only you so please do not feel so bad for this. Elena, those are not our worries, but Father's. You do not control the debt or the government or the military, you must not meddle in his affairs. Just focus on your stately business, Father will hopefully find a solution for everything that plagues us as a whole nation. ...You have thusly proven my point. So irresponsible... Best to always finish work first.
If that is not what you meant, then what do you mean, Elena? I am not an amazing person.
Sincerely,
State of Iowa T.J. Jones
