Carina, I am so sorry to hear. I never wanted you to go through what I went through with this, but really, I would have rather you broke the promise to me in this case, that was selfish of me to ask. Your mental health with this comes first. If there is anything I can do for you genç biri, let me know. Sadiq Sadiq, I understand. I don't see it as selfish it was a well intentioned wish and I only wish that it had been possible... Thank you. I'm not sure there's much anyone can do right now. I wish I knew why he stopped contacting me, but I suppose I'll never know. I think I remember why I never tried before. Too often people leave once you get attached... whether they want or mean to or not.Carina

Al, Well, I've mentioned it so we'll see what he says. Its how we all learn, by making mistakes, we all go through it. Can you make games for her to play, reward her with treats and that? Make it as fun as you can to keep her distracted. You are still learning, and I know its not easy, but I at least see you trying to do good. If you make mistakes, try not to let what other people say get you down. ....History is like an endless waltz, the three beats of war, peace and revolution go on forever. We can try to stop it, but it will come eventually, its just a matter of where and when. Just do your best, and things will turn out how they are supposed to. I myself feel like im making mistakes right now with the whole situation with Syria and everything, but just do what you can, it will all work out. You can always call me, I'll answer. Sadiq Turk, arrrrrggh... WORK! I swear to god I can't remember the last time I've had more than half an hour without something coming up. And all my letters were in my other office. Well you probably already know, I know she writes you, but Carina's doing better and she behaved well while she recovered. She's a good kid she just absolutely hates being inside. I swear I went over last winter and she still had windows open when it was freezing out! Yeah... Well I'm trying my best.... but I think the politicians are trying their best to make me go bald. I've nearly been pulling my hair out watching the debates. And they all seem to make a point of saying things that will get them in trouble. I hope you're doing alright man. I've been trying to keep up with world news but well... like everything else it's sortof fallen behind lately. Thanks dude, - Al

Ludwig,
....Sorry for the wait with the response, I'll reply when I can but my time to answer letters is pretty random....
I can understand you missing Feliciano, its not a surprise to miss your boyfriend. And even as nice as being home is, part of your home will always be with him....or at least that's how I feel when I'm apart from Arthur for too long.
Well, I hope your ministers aren't making you angry anymore. Heaven help the ones that do, there is usually only so much we can take before we snap and I hope none of them cross that line.

Carina,
These things happen and try not to dwell on it, it doesn't help. Except to make one depressed and sad.. I often ask myself the same thing, why do I even try when I know they will leave...I've finally come to the conclusion that I should just enjoy the time I have with them and be happy with that.
Well, now thats its been awhile, I hope your feeling better and time has done its work. Tell me, anything interesting going on for you? I'd love to hear about it. Eat any good sweets?

But it's difficult... sometimes I wish I had never been found because then no one would have been able to leave me and I could have been happy still all alone.I'm... okay. There's not very much interesting going on I've been spending time in the woods, although it's getting too cold for that now. It's a shame because I'd rather be out under the stars and the sky. It's less lonely that way somehow... I don't know that I really want to be around too many people but I don't want to be home either. Not really many sweets when I'm out like this especially this time of year. Most of the plants are dieing back. ~Carina

Al,
....I completely understand what ya mean man, completely understand. Work is a pain.
I am glad she's doing better. I hate the winter with a passion, I think I practically go into hibernation when it comes around. I'm glad she likes it.
I hope ya don't, Ya always had nice hair, would be a shame to lose it. What do you do to get it so soft looking and get it to look so healthy?
Anyway, I thought that's what all politicans did, no matter what, they will say something that someone doesn't like and will get them into trouble. I'm doing good, just busy. And I understand, I've been running around busy myself. o rush to answer back, It will probably take me a while to answer back.

Carina,
Writing people is good. Listen to someone older. Just because someone close to you leave, you always have your good friends yes? There will always be people there for you who will help you through thick and thin. Do not let one person make you forget those people. Your dad will always be there for you, I'll always be there for you, not to mention the rest of your siblings.
I don't like the cold...at all. but I do like it when its warm and all that. Perhaps next spring you can come to visit, or next some when the temperature is wonderful. I'll show you some of the great places to eat here and the sights. And of course you can bring your dad to, it sounds like he needs a vacation. It would be freat to have two visitors I can show around.
Don't think of it as the plants are dying, they are mealy slipping into hibernation, resting for next year when they shall bloom again. Its like their vacation, their chance to rest.

Sadiq Turk, Dude for a while there I thought they were trying to literally bury me in paperwork. I had a paper-cut on my shoulder from accidentally brushing the pile seriously man. So am I, I really don't like it when something happens to them. I work really hard to keep them safe but sometimes there's nothing I can do... I'm not sure if she loves winter or hates it sometimes. She enjoys the sports, but she hates it keeping her cooped up inside more. Then again she doesn't really let it keep her cooped up much so she probably loves it more. Careful not to let her hear you say that or she'll probably drag you out for skiing or snowboarding. Your ass will have never been colder than when you've fallen on it for the fiftieth time in ten minutes. Uh.... thanks? I just wash it with shampoo and comb it I guess? I use whatever the girls told me to buy. I know but they've said some things that just seem even stupider than usual lately. It makes me worry since they're supposed to be helping and being in charge and all. I'm glad you've been doing well, hope your work isn't driving you as nuts as mine has been. And this isn't a rush.... this is me procrastinating on other things people are insisting I should do when I haven't had much time off in a while. Besides I'm totally working on international political relationships right now. So it's not really goofing off now is it. I'll hear from ya' when I hear from ya. -Al

Sadiq Sadiq, It feels like everyone's been gone lately. Dorothy's been off on a 'mission' or something and Joseph just vanished like that... I suppose I've seen Walker and Red and a few of the others but they have their own lives and important people. I don't want to get in the way. And it's nice that they're happy. The cold isn't that bad although I like it a bit better when it's warmer because I can be outside longer without so many layers, but there are a lot of fun things that you can do in the winter too and the snow can be very pretty. That would be really nice. I've wanted to travel and see some more of the world for a while. The farthest I've been from home is when I've gone to see Nonno Renzo and Uncle Leo in Italy and I didn't really get a chance to go anywhere else before I really had to get home... I'm sure dad would love it to then again there's not much that dad doesn't like. I suppose that's true, just like the animals. Still it makes me a little sad to see everything quiet and brown. It seems like it's barely been any time at all since everything was just getting green and starting to bloom and it's already over. ~Carina

Al,
....Once again, its taken me forever to get back to you. No real excuse besides I just haven't been in the mood for writing letters and I guess just trying to destress. I hope that papercut has healed well and you got your paperwork taken care of.
Kids will be kids and you have to let them do their own thing; learn from their mistakes and be there for them when they need you. Too, late, we were planning to go skiing last winter, but things came up and it wasn't possible. I can deal with the cold as long as its for fun.
That works, whatever it is they tell you to use works well.
All our boses can be stupid and complete idiots. Hopeflly things have calmed down there. Work as been driving me nuts, humans can be so stupid sometime. Well, like you said, this is working on international relationships and improving ties between personifications. So this is important too. I hope you don't get into too much trouble for writting letters instead of paperwork.
Take your time in writing back, I'm getting really bad with answering my letters, hopefully I can get better with them again.
Sadiq

Carina,
Here you are saying it feels like everyone's been gone lately and I take forever to answer, I'm sorry. Try and make plans with people if you can.
You can tell its winter here right now, but you should both come in early spring when the flowers start to bloom, its beautiful. And with the flowers and the brown things, they're only hybernating, waiting for a chance to bloom again. They're resting and keeping their potential till its time for them to shine again.

Sadiq Sadiq, It's alright I understand that you're busy. I'll try, I just don't even know what to do to hang out... but at least I've heard from a few people. Joseph's written a little and that's nice and hopefully we'll be able to get together soon. It sounds like it must be lovely there during the spring. I'll be sure to try and make sure things can be scheduled to get there then. Si, that's true and then they come back even more beautiful than before. But I still miss the green... Although everything looks really pretty in the snow as well and I've been able to get out skiing and things a couple times so that's been fun. ~Carina

Turk,
This letter is no way meant to start any sort of friendship with a piece of shit like you! Artie seems to really like you and I want it understood that I will put an end to you if you make him upset. I am the only one allowed to make the brat sob and hurt so if I ever find out you hurt him again I'll be after you. Remember Artie's magic is nothing compared to mine and I'll summon the Satan himself if I find out you hurt a single ugly hair on that brat's head! Now that's clear enjoy screwing my brother as long as I don't have to hear him scream your name.
Sincerely, Your Worst Nightmare

Lieber Sadiq,
in that case I will have to apologise for my delay in responding as well. It is a mystery to me what has come over me, but apparently in the last weeks I have considered pretty much anything more important than my paperwork. According to my boss I must have behaved worse than my older brother. How have you been doing since the last time we got the chance to talk?
Yes, that is a good description of my current feelings. I was very happy to spend Christmas with Feliciano, but unfortunately his boss’s retreat put an early end to our common holidays. Currently Feliciano is probably working overtime again back in Rome. Did you get the chance to celebrate with Arthur?
There will probably never come a time where our politicians don’t anger us in one way or the other… Like Berlin’s and Swabia’s politicians wasting their time with a fight about the correct word for “plum cake” these days, as if there weren’t more important problems.
Viele Grüße, Ludwig

Carina,
Thats good that your talking again. Hopefully it all works out with everything thats involved with there.
This years not gonna be a good time to visit , as much as I would like visitors from you all for fun, the borders isn't safe anymore. Germany and Netherlands have already sent help for the border issue, and I think soon your dad might have to send troops if we can't get his under control.
On a different note, I hear its warmer there than it has been, are the green things starting to come back, or did I hear the news wrong?
Sadiq
