A/N: Pangea you want, Pangea you get! :3
Acron labs- 2012
“You eliminate everything and everyone in your path,” the intercom voice instructed him as large doors opened, a gust of air hit Florence as he coughed, fresh air stinging his lungs. He was as normal as he had been, they had given him a sedative, the only thing visible abnormality about him was his irises, they were still as white as Socrates feathers, no one would notice though as he pulled a hood over his head. A gray jacket hiding the mutations.
When he had entered the world was green, full of life and noises. Now? Now it was a brown destroyed wasteland, nothing. Everything gone. Everything dead. Only in around a hundred feet perimeter around the building He stepped out onto what was left of the earth. His feet unaccustomed to the shoes which encased them. His vision had become accustomed and sharpened in the darkness, so now he could see farther and better than he had ever been able to. He could hear the distant eruptions of bombs going off in the distance.
“Cazzo,” he breathed, walking to the wrecked city. Bodies were scattered around like leaves in a yard, and the smell; It reeked of death and the unforgiving smell of radiation. His shoes made a light padding sound as he walked the long treacherous way towards the city. He jumped at a loud noise- looking up he watched a helicopter roared overhead, heavy artillery gilding it. Lorenzo frowned, while the parasite wasn't controlling his will he found all this violence confusing and unnecessary. But he and the Other One had been set out with a task; to find and eliminate the remaining nations.
“I'm not going to touch any of them,” Pangea growled, trying to break the restraints that held the neither male nor female creature in place.
The man smirked, his glaces reflecting the bright lights. “I'm afraid by the time this is done you will have no choice, we kept your will for far to long. The deal is off,”
“You bastards!” The beast cried, trying to tear it's self free from the chair it was strapped to. “We had a deal!”
“The contract only stated that you would help us if in return you had full reign over what was left.” The man recited, “Unfortunately we cannot take that to a judge, so as far as we are concerned, it does not exist.”
Pangea let off a torrent of swears, trying desperately to break free of it's bonds. “I won't let you do this! Dammit! No!” It screamed, feeling as the long needle was inserted into it's arm.
“You feel this? This is an neurolyptical venom, if we find you are doing something we disapprove of we send the virus to attack. You either follow us, or die a slow painful death.”
The creature nodded, his heart felt like it was being torn out of his chest. It couldn't die, or else the other man, the one who's blood ran through it's veins would kill them- but if it attacked him it was going to die. Pangea's only chance would be to follow orders.
“Kill all personifications. Anyone who gets in your way needs to be eliminated.”
Pangea snarled in reply. It didn't need to be told twice. The restraints were slackened and it stood. Pangea bayed farewell to his captors before it left. ____
Florence watched as Pangea left the building, his white eyes narrowed. He knew what they had been told to do. But Florence had played the obedient, beaten into submission card. Even though he was tainted and felt horrible for killing innocent people, he would still protect the young nations and city-states he had been charged with taking care of so many years ago. Fear would not keep him from protecting them. It was his charge.
He faded into the shadows of the buildings, climbing up one and watching from above as his target, he would have a better range of attack from here. He leapt to the next building silently, the parasite giving him the advantage of a longer jump. He watched as the pure white figure blurred- it's figure becoming distorted before disappearing, as if it were lagging on a video. He scanned the area, watching as Pangea appeared on the rooftops above Sicily, Vinci, and Calabria. The creature was going to be a formidable opponent indeed.
Woo! Is Florence a good guy or a bad guy..... what do you guys think? And I've fallen in love with a new composer, Jasper Kyd~ *drools*
