Lieber Feliciano,
thank you very much, Feliciano. I still can't find words to express how good it feels to hear comforting words like this. After all the bad things I have done in the past, that I can't and won't deny, it is wonderful to hear that I am forgiven by some people.
All right, let us do this. It won't be easy I guess, but I will somehow manage to keep Gilbert in check. Now I hope that our teams will do us the favour and come up against each other.
Like I said, some of them seem to like being angry or arguing. Don't be afraid and don't worry. If it is going to far I will step in and restore order as always.
You are welcome. Honestly, it goes without saying that as a friend I will be there for you. *embarrassed* Don't hestitate to ask for assistance if I can be of any help.
If you say so. But I still think it must have been troublesome to fight all the time when you were so little. Then let me express it differently, I want to learn your language, even more so since you took the trouble to learn mine. Right now my Italian is just good enough to order pasta though, I am afraid.
That is nonsense, Feliciano. Of course there are things like little headaches. That is what I had and what the fresh air made go by. I am not overstressed or will get ill. So please don't worry your head off. I can't take a break again. This work is due in two weeks at the latest. I can recover a little as soon as I have finished it.
That is true. We should always treat other people as kindly as we wish them to treat us as well. But that is not a question of religion.
It is a pity that Switzerland doesn't want to join, but it is his decision. You worry too much. That is nothing I am stressing myself about.
Normally we don't hug friends, nein. The younger generation of my people seems to do so, especially girls, but usually Germans keep their distance. I would appreciate it if you at least cutted down on your hugs.
Thank you again. It is a little embarrassing for me, since I am... na ja... not used to talking about emotional topics very much.
Viele Grüße, Ludwig
-- Also OOC I have no words, but THANK YOU! *hugs* That is soooo nice. *sniff*

Liebe Kalifornien,
why wouldn't you be able to believe it? Besides the economy things are fine over here. Last week we had a little trouble with some arson attacks in Berlin, but luckily no one was hurt. And how are you? It is a pleasure to meet you. Best state...? Somehow that reminds me of someone...
Viele Grüße, Deutschland
P.S.: Thank you. I guess you can call me Ludwig as well then.

Hola Ludwig,
well, I guess I can, but I just think you're so awesome! I've heard about you and admire your country. Thats good to hear, I'm glad things are going well with the economy. Thats good, it sounds scary, but at least its under control now I think? I'm fine, its been really peacful lately, small stuff, but still peaceful. Does it remind you of Elly? 'Cause like I said, she's wrong about that , 'cause everyone knows I truly am the best!
love, Alexis
P.S: I will~ thats a nice name, I like it

Ludwig:
Uhh.......have you heard about what's happening around the world? Lots of protests and Occupy movements going around lately. Also, the total damage for the Kazan Kremlin's damage was around 5,000,000 Euros. Which is a reasonable amount to pay for the repairs, but Vanya wasn't happy with the destruction at all.

Liebe Alexis,
uhm... thank you for this compliment. Unfortunately I have to disappoint you, things aren't going well at all with the economy. The Euro financial crisis is still a disaster and it doesn't look like we are able to solve it anytime soon. But since you asked "besides the economy" I didn't mention it. Peaceful sounds great to me, especially considering the ruckus going on in Europe lately. Would Elly be short for Elena and mean New York? Nein, I don't know Alfred's children good enough to issue this statement. I meant one of my older brothers who declared himself the best German federal state.
Viele Grüße, Ludwig

Hola Ludwig,
You're very welcome Germany. The economy hasn't been doing well? Oh no, I'm sorry about that, I wish it would hurry and get better! I've heard it has been crazy, you poor thing! I send my best wishes to you, hopefully things can get better. Yes, it would be. Yeesh, she really does think she's better than moi! Do you mean Prussia? Or someone else? I havent really met Prussia, because I've been told to stay away from him, so I'm not sure

Lieber Goldene Horde,
of course I have heard about it. These protests are hard to miss and I have to admit that it is not always easy not to take them personally. It doesn't surprise me that Russia wasn't exactly happy about the destruction of the Kazan Kremlin. It is only a question of money for reparation, but also its symbolic meaning.
Viele Grüße, Deutschland

Liebe Alexis,
unfortunately the economy is still stuck in the crisis. We are working hard on it and I hope that we will finally make some progress soon. Uhm... Thank you for that. So it is a rivalry between the two of you? For once I didn't mean Prussia. Of course Gilbert is convinced that he is the most awesome, but considering that he is not a federal state anymore, that description wouldn't fit him. I meant Bavaria. Who would have told you to stay away from Gilbert? He is a good guy.
Viele Grüße, Ludwig

Mio amico Luddi,
You don't have to say anything, Luddi, I just wanted you to know the truth. It's true, you did do some bad things, but even a blind man would be able to tell that Luddi does regret what he's done and he's done so much worth forgiveness. And honestly, all of the other nations...even me, have done many terrible things too. So please don't let anyone tell you that you're a monster because Luddi isn't.
W-Well, just...don't let him be mean while we're still around and that's all Luddi has to do. Oh, I'm sure we'll end up playing against one another at some point unless I get knocked out early again, which would make me cry but if Luddi is worried we could just...watch the whole Euro 2012 together, once we reach the quarter-finals?
O-Okay...Luddi always knows what he's talking about, so I'll do my best to listen to his advice. G-Grazie, you always look out for me everyone.
Well...there isn't anything right now that I need Luddi's help with, but if Luddi needs me for anything I'll be in Roma. Lovi's having very bad headaches from the riots, so I'm going down to take care of him help with the clean-up. Oh I hope he's okay, even I started having a headache from it.
Ve, didn't Luddi get into a lot of fights and wars when he was young too? O-Oh, Luddi does want to learn Italian? I can...teach Luddi if he wants me to... Oh, that's the perfect amount of Italian to know as a beginner! Ve, delicious, beautiful pasta~ It's been so long since I've made pasta, maybe Lovi would like some when I make it to our home in Roma~ Grazie for the idea, Luddi!
B-But Luddi--!! Veeeee... If Luddi insists, I'll try not to worry too much. But please, if you start to have those...strange images you were telling me about, please tell me. I don't want to hear that Luddi became ill because he was too worried about his work...
I guess that's true. And saying that you would do good things simply because Dio wishes it of you seems... shallow, now that I think about it, ve. We should be kind because people deserve to be treated kindly. But for my people who are forced to suffer due to my mistakes that they had no part in, I hope that Dio is there to watch over them and grant them the peace they deserve once their lives come to an end... It's just more comforting, si?
W-Worry too much? V-Ve, I didn't know that was possible... I just want Luddi to be happy, and he seems to be so stressed and worried lately.
O-Oh, I didn't know that... Mi dispiace, Luddi, I didn't mean to make mio amico uncomfortable... I-I can't promise anything immediate, but I'll do my best to keep from hugging Luddi too often! I d-didn't know that the other nations didn't hug people very often, fratelloni Antonio and Francis hug people as often as I do, so I hadn't noticed. I'm sorry again, Luddi, I really didn't mean to make you uncomfortable!
That I do know about Luddi, that's why I'm so happy that you would be willing to talk about them with me, ve~ It makes me feel special~
Tuo amico, Feliciano

I hope things go well, it makes me upset to hear such bad news as that! You're welcome It isn't a rivalry! I'm a much better state, and she should know that. Hmmp! So I've heard~ just people I know who say Gilbert would get me into trouble, including my dad once, but I've never visited anyway, and I've only seen him once

Doitsu-san,
I am sorry? What do you mean direct European way of speaking? Ah yes, nevertheless, I shall make it a point to worry about you, especially after your last letter.. Are you sure you are okay? Plase do not lose your sanity.. It would be very bad if that was to happen.
Then.. you are encouraged to go out? Or is it that someone is preventing you from leaving the house? Do you need any help with that then? I am not sure what I can do, but I will try my best.
I-I am sorry? I am not trying to lie to you Doitsu-san when I say I am well enough. I am sorry you think that I was trying to trick you.. But I assure you that there is little to worry about. Please be assured that I shall do what is needed if ever comes a time when I need assistance. You can have my word as a Japanese man on that.
How do you put me out? I am afraid I do not understand. I am not a candle. Could you repeat that? And please do not fall into madness, that would be very disastrous. Still, even though you say you are fine, I shall write letters to you as often as I can. I hope you do not mind me.

Lieber Feliciano,
I really can't thank you enough for your kind words. Most nations probably have a dark chapter in their past, but mine is more than just dark, and it is not all that long ago either. The memories are still too vivid and so are the nightmares. But I am grateful for your support. I will try and get over it, so that one day I can commemorate it without hating myself.
Gilbert will have to behave or else we will lock him in the basement... and this time we will take away his vuvuzela first. That would be nice. We haven't watched football together since a long time ago.
No need to thank me. Apparently it has become my job to keep order during meetings over the years.
Oh, so Romano's health was affected by the riots as well? I hope he gets better soon, and you too of course. Take good care of yourselves then. I wished the protesting humans would pay a bit more attention to their countries. Apparently it never occured to their mind that those protests could hurt us. *sigh*
When is was young... well, at least as far as I can remember,... I didn't fight too often. During the Napoleonic Wars it was mainly my big brothers fighting, since I was still too weak. I only got to assist Gilbert a little in Waterloo. The first battle I fought myself was against Denmark in 1848, together with Gilbert and Roderich. That wasn't meant literally, Feliciano. Why haven't you made pasta for so long? That is very unusual. I can express simple things in Italian, but not very much.
Images...? Oh, you mean those. At that time I was feeling dizzy. I didn't take that seriously, I was exhausted and my eyes just played a trick on me. But I feel better now. No worries, I won't get ill. When I have finished this report I will call it a day and get some hours of sleep after I have walked the dogs and cleaned up the mess my big brother has caused in the kitchen.
Ja, that is what I tried to say. Uhm... I think I understand what you mean by that.
It is possible, believe me. I may be stressed and worried recently because of the crisis, but I am sure that we can overcome it. When this happens I can recover and relax. However, there is still a lot of work I have to get done before.
Please keep that in mind in future. Ja, different nations obviously have a different need for private space. Your family seems to be fine with less distance, whereas for example Japan needs a lot of it. I guess you remember how he reacted to your hugs at first. France is... France. It took me ages to beak him from the habit of greeting me with his "bise". *sigh*
Viele Grüße, Ludwig
--- Oh dear... I feel so much like describing my friend who had a burnout some time ago. ;__;

Liebe Alexis,
as everybody does his bit to overcome the crisis I hope that it is only a question of time until we can breathe a sigh of relief. In the meantime we will all work hard. If you say so. It still sounds like a rivalry to me. That is nonsense, don't worry. I can't imagine why Gilbert would get you into trouble. He may run riot at times, but normally he knows when he is going too far.
Viele Grüße, Ludwig

Lieber Japan,
by that I tried to express that we European nations seem to be more direct in our way of speaking, which may come across blunt to you at times. Thank you. Yes, I am very sure that everything is fine.
My bosses press me to accept some experts' or my brothers' help. But I believe that I can do this best by myself. Usually my big brothers cause more problems than they solve.
Sorry. It wasn't my intention to accuse you of lying at all. From past experience I know that you don't like to accept assistance. So please forgive that I may be persistant on that account. Even though I am aware that you are capable of handling most of your problems by yourself, I still want you to know that no one would mind to help you.
I am sorry to worry you, that is what it means. It is a pleasure to receive your letters. Don't worry about that, please.
Viele Grüße, Deutschland
